Number 2. is a member of FAKE KNIFE, and the brother of Number 1., he is a Winged Invincible Person, and a former member of the Immortality Research Center.

Appearance[]

Compared to his brother, Number 2. has slightly longer bangs and messier hair. However, just like his twin brother Number 1., and the rest of his family, he has white hair, light blue eyes, and white wings. He is often shown wearing a white lab coat over a light blue windbreaker and black sweats with one white stripe on each side. He also wears black and white slides. He has wings in the back, like Number 1., but unlike his brother, he appears to be a mad scientist because of his white robe and his expression.

In the past his hair was neater and shaped in a straight bob-cut with the tips bumped up, he also had straight bangs. His style of clothing did not change much as he still wears a lab coat, but he replaced the black turtle neck he wore with a blue jacket. He resembles at this time Raptor's beta design.

In the Genderbent Specials, he is seen relatively the same, but with a female body, shoulder-length hair, and a black pencil skirt.

Personality[]

Unlike his brother, who seems innocent, he has a playful impression and has a fun and quite friendly nature to those around him. He seems young, but in fact, he is one of the oldest recurring character along with Number 1.. He seems to have lived for at least a few centuries.

He has an obsession with organs, something even his female version can agree on, with the addition of muscles creeping her out. However he ironically has a phobia of blood and faints when he sees it, and he has an ambition to find a way to cure diseases without surgery. His blood phobia disappears during crucial moments.

He also hates nagging, as shown in Chapter 99 when Number 1., calls him to check up on him, and when Number 1. told Naga to sit because he was a guest, Number 2. also sat down thinking he can get away from helping his twin clean up.

In the past, it was shown that he had a rather strict and mean personality and hated humans, thinking that they were incapable especially after working on the Research Island. Despite this he was curious and thinks of them as 'weird' when he had a conversation with an orphan. He barely spoke and disliked having relationships with others, but because of the orphans at the orphanage, they helped him open up and become the bright character he is. At this time he also did not seem aware of human customs, he did not know who Santa was before coming to work at the orphanage, and panicked at the duties he would take on by becoming Santa. After the downfall of the IRC, he was noted to have changed into the person he is now.

It is mentioned by The Teacher that because he and his family is immortal, he has a different way of thinking from Humans, he does not care about physical injuries.

Background[]

Number 2. formerly worked at his family's island, where they took in Humans and took care of them as an on-going experiment, it seemed he did not like taking care of the humans, and regularly got annoyed with them. The humans living there stayed despite previously having plans to leave eventually with very rare exceptions. A Human who was one of the few people who left was The Teacher, a young man at the time. After making enough money The Teacher recruited Number 2. into his Immortality Project.

Later on while still working with The Teacher, he went to an orphanage for seemingly no reason but to work as a doctor. But it is possible that he went there was to recruit future test subjects and researchers for the Immortality Research Center. While there he grew close to the orphans, and learned to relax and enjoy their moments together. At some point during this time he was requested by the owner of the orphanage to take on the role of Santa for the kids, which he read a book handed to him by her, and learned of the extraordinary feats he takes on. Taking it literally, he begins panicking and wonders if he should get Number 1. to help him. After the children grew up, he helped some become workers for the IRC, this includes Baekmorae who turned to become a scientist.

While working inside of the IRC, he and Nocturne met, and was warned by The Teacher to not allow people to confuse them with Hybrids. One time The Teacher read his letters from his family, and he got annoyed at him for doing so. Number 2. writes a reply to what was said in the letters, about the research, not wanting tofu-toothpaste, and a book suggestion. The Teacher asks him about what happened to his brother, as he had been dismembered, but Number 2. brushes it off, and says he does not understand Humans. The Teacher suggests getting married and having children to learn, but he does not want to get attached, and relationships with his species never end well, he also mentions it is irrational to get attached to beings who that will eventually die.

Number 2. also became attached to Baekmorae, and was against him becoming a lab rat but in the end, decided to support his decision. After the subsequent destruction of the IRC and the further slaughter of everybody in it, Number 2. called Number 1. in tears, and began living with him. It is possible that Number 2.'s fear of blood was caused by these incidents.

Number 2. felt responsible for Baekmorae, and believes why Baekmorae became the way he is was because he made him think he was a Invincible Person.

Story[]

He is first introduced as one of Osu's FAKE KNIFE's henchmen, and he benefits mainly from Number 1. plant shop and Osu's money to live. He plays a rather minor role until he sees Baekmorae being escorted by SPOON while running an errand for Osu.

Following this, he went to Naga's house and threatened him. Implying he would harm himself if Naga refused to help. With Naga under pressure he messages Dana and takes Number 2. to SPOON under the guise of helping Baekmorae. By the time the two arrive Medusa had already set off the power and gas resulting in Naga losing his powers. Naga led Number 2. further inside of SPOON and the two run into Lady, who Naga believed to be dead.

The three of them go to the first underground floor where they find Guineung, Vivian, Rona, Songha, Orca, and Medusa already fighting. While Naga is distracted by the fight Number 2. goes off on his own. He finds Baekmorae's cage, and in tears and questions him about the crimes he has committed, and asks if he was taking the blame for someone else's crimes, if so Number 2. would help him. Baekmorae tells him that he is self-absorbed in his way of thinking and tries to leave but cannot find a keyhole. Number 2. asks him what would happen if Baekmorae was caught, and he plainly replies he will be killed. Hearing this Number 2. is scared, and offers him a deal while using chemicals to break open the cage, he begs Baekmorae to run away somewhere far and stop committing crimes, which Baekmorae refuses saying his happiness is here.

Number 2. appears again when Dana punched Baekmorae and causes him to bleed out, Dana expresss her disdain and questioned Number 2. about what Naga has told her. Baekmorae stabs Number 2. and takes him hostage while bargaining with SPOON to kill Number 2. if they did not release the other members of KNIFE. At the stand still Naga tells Dana Number 2. cannot die, visibly annoying Baekmorae as he tries to insult SPOON as they do not show any care for Number 2. Dana says he cannot be considered a hostage because he went out of his way to see Baekmorae.

After Baekmorae finally escapes, Number 2. is detained by SPOON while Osu and Number 1. arrive to apologize and promise to reimburse SPOON for all the damage Number 2. has done. With SPOON detaining him until further notice, he is interrogated by Raptor and Guineung, he tells Guineung of his past and how he used to despise and look down upon humans. Raptor tries to determine his reason for helping Baekmorae at the expense of his current family and becomes enraged when he himself, is not sure of his feelings. She is interrupted by Youngjeong who asks Number 2. about the experiments the Immortality Research Center conducted.

During the Horned Invincible People arc, they ask Number 2. for help regarding communication with SPOON, and it seems he may know them. He is shown healing the scars the Horned People have. In return the Horned People give him Perfection to escape. Later on Number 2. refused leaving with Salt Bora after the latter offered to, because he wants Number 2. to work as the Horned People's doctor.

Later on Number 2. is then kidnapped by Youngjeong once she hears that Dana planned to release him back to his family in exchange for their help with Baekmorae. She holds him captive in her penthouse and berates him for his sympathy towards Baekmorae, and she keeps him there to pay for his crimes. Naga sees Number 2. when he entered Youngjeong's penthouse, with Naga wanting to tell Dana where Number 2. is as SPOON is searching for him, but Youngjeong is against telling her though.

Number 2. is also present during Naga and Youngjeong's battle, where she reveals she plans for Baekmorae to be held captive eternally so that he can purify the world and Number 2. can be his personal healer. When she loses, she refuses Number 2.'s help and he returns home with Naga.

After Number 2. returns to his family, Number 1. forces him to become the Flight Team's personal healer so Number 1. has less work to do and so he can reconcile with Naga. Naga, however, shows an obvious dislike for him.

At the end, Baekmorae is held down by a machine in a room, making a deal with the Winged People to use his powers solely for good. After they leave, Number 2. goes to see him, but right before he could enter an explosion goes off inside of the room, killing Baekmorae in front of Number 2.. It is said by a member of the Winged People that killing Baekmorae in front of Number 2. was his punishment, and because of his crimes he will not be able to love what he used to love again. An image of an intestine container can be seen broken on the floor.

During the epilogue Naga explains he only sees Number 1. working in the flower shop now and avoids speaking to them, but after a length period of time Number 2. resumes working there with him.

Powers & Abilities[]

Immortality []

Number 2.'s species is immortal, unable to get sick, injured, or get killed. Any physical wounds their species receives will be restored immediately, with severed body parts attaching themselves back together.

Healing[]

Number 1, along with his siblings, possesses powerful healing abilities, better than any other healer in SPOON. This is due to the family being immortal, meaning the life energy required for healing never decreases. He can heal injury, reattach limbs, purify viruses and germs and is seemingly limitless. This ability can cure the trauma but not the disease.

Relationships[]

Number 1.[]

They are brothers, in the past Number 1. used to beat him up when he got mad. They bicker like siblings when they fight, but usually make up at the end. In Chapter 109 during a flashback Number 2. says they get along fine, and does not show concern even when questioned by The Teacher of Number 1.'s dismemberment. Number 1. has supported Number 2. throughout the events of the series, such as comforting him or allowing him to move in with him and Osu. Number 1. attempted to kill Baekmorae at the end, and was implied to have been worried about Number 2. when he went to see Baekmorae.

Osu[]

They seem to be on good terms.

Eunbidan[]

She used to look up at him when she looked like a child, but after he preformed an operation in front of her while still practicing as a doctor, she no longer felt that way. He is angry when a child slaps her in protest to having a check up done.

Baekmorae[]

Number 2. is the self-identified adoptive father of Baekmorae, on the flip side Baekmorae considers him a "senior", despite all Baekmorae does to other people, Number 2.is always shown to still care for him, and tries getting him on the right side of life. In the past they were on positive relations, with Baekmorae seen spending time with him and other scientists at the IRC.
